The Beretta 8045 is a semi-automatic, recoil-operated, DA/SA pistol that is chambered in .45 ACP. This gun comes in D and F variations, which differ in the exposition of the hammer. The prototype G configuration, or variation, has never left the planning phase and is not widely available.

This model can be chambered with 0.45 ammunition. The Operation of the model 8045 is simple blowback, with a single or double action trigger mechanism and with exposed hammer. The magazine release button is placed in the left side of the grip, located between the grip retaining screws. The frame is made of aluminum alloy. Slide and barrel are either made of carbon steel or stainless steel. Usage of the material depends on the model variation. e model was designed for self-defense and therefore can be carry comfortable, with high rate of concealment. It’s fitted with a frame-mounted, thumb-operated sear-locking safety system, that blocks the slide. It can be applied with the hammer fully down or cocked. The hammer has a half-cock safety system.
