About Beretta 82

The Beretta 82 is a compact, semi-automatic pistol introduced in 1986. The cartridge is .32 ACP and the magazine can hold 9 rounds. The magazine is single stacked thus the grips on the gun are thinner and that makes the difference of the Beretta 82 among the similar pistols of the "80" line.

The “80” model line of Beretta is a new generation of compact pistols that appeared in 1976. The models are 81, 82, 84, 85 and 87. They have many similarities in appearance, major dimensions and design. They have differed in calibers and magazine capacities. They may be hard to recognize and at first you may fail to notice the right one, but we are here to help you get to know them better. This line of Beretta pistols includes also models for plinking and target shooting.

The whole line is blowback operated, hammer fired guns, they all have an ambidextrous safety. The slides famously resemble the Beretta 92 slide, an open-top pattern. The frames are made of light alloy and slides are made of steel. All of these pistols have fixed sights, dovetailed into the slide. The grips vary and finishes vary. Grips can be plastic or wooden and the finish can be blued or nickel.
